In 1996, Nativa Geranio shook the Salvadoran rock scene with a debut album that became a defining moment for a generation. Their single “Abajo del Agua” turned into an anthem, pushing local rock onto the radio and taking the band across Central America alongside icons like Café Tacvba, Men at Work, and Gustavo Cerati.

Nearly thirty years later, Nativa Geranio and Normandie Records honor that legacy with a fully re-recorded version of the album, updated for today while preserving its original spirit.

The campaign begins November 7 with the new release of “Abajo del Agua,” a bridge between past and present and a reminder of how far Salvadoran rock has come.
